Deco Mesh Garland

Well it's been a loooog time since I've posted and I'm going to try to get back in the habit.  This week I decided to make a Deco Mesh Garland like I've been seeing all over Pinterest.
Finished Product

Here's a short description of what I did and how I did it!

Supplies

I made my garland on a 12 foot string of icicle lights because those are the extra lights I had.

2 roll Red Deco Mesh 10"x 30" plus about 3 feet from a second roll
red and white pipe cleaners
2" wired ribbon 12 feet
candy cane ornaments
Christmas bulbs (not pictured)

First I layed out my lights, then twisted pipe cleaners every 10-12 inches.

Next step is to start adding your Deco Mesh. This is very simple. Gather the end leaving a small tail and secure to the lights with the pipe cleaner

Once I had the first piece attached I stretched the mesh out 2 pipe cleaners to measure my length.  Then simply bunch it up and attach.

Second color added

Finished both colors

Then I added my ribbon the same as the Deco Mesh.  I decided to hang the garland up before adding ornaments. It was much easier to place them.

Here are a bunch of pictures of my garland.
